i was feeling particularly effamatisquidjitingly bored.
then i remembered something rachel said awhile ago that i thought would make an interesting blog post.
Rachel: (after watching me hide xmillion pimples with concealer) ...what the hell do you look like under all that makeup.. -mildly horrified look-
so here are my before-makeup & after-makeup pictures, so you can see roughly what i do everyday to stop people from running away from me screaming. (not really everyday, i dont usually bother with lipgloss and eyeshadow, but the eyeliner is pretty constant, and, naturally, the coverups aha)
NO PHOTOSHOP DONE ON THE FOLLOWING PICTURES.
except a little adjusting of the lighting so that my Before picture didn't look so washed out and my After picture look so dark. (oh and i up-ed the contrast a little so you can notice all my sexy flaws in the first picture and my lack of them in the second :D)
BEFORE
my mental "to correct" list...
1. under eye circles
2. remove left over smudged eyeliner
3. pimples
4. cover up freckles
5. even out skin tone
6. get rid of computer-screen tan
7. hide pimples (though you can't see most of them properly in this picture cos it was pretty washed out. except for that mofo on my nose. interesting story behind that pimple... terry thought it would be fun to bite my nose.. HARD. i almost cried, k. then when i told him it really hurt, he put his ice cream on it. next day, pimple, aha.)
8. pluck eyebrows. haven't done this in ages and i didn't do it today either because i couldn't find my damn tweezers. ugh.
9. curl & mascara eyelashes. except i didn't bother with this for the blog post cos you wouldn't be able to tell either way.
procedure: cleanse - moisturize - foundation - concealer - blend - face powder -2nd concealer - blend - eyeliner - 2 shades of eyeshadow (matte black & shimmery gray) - blend - face powder 2nd time - blend - opening tube of lipgloss to find the applicator broke off and got stuck on the lid - deciding to use very EW shimmery pink lipstick instead with lipbalm on top - pinning hair back for extra glam
